We hereby give notice that the AGM for 2026 for the Bracco Italiano Club will be held by zoom meeting on Sunday 6th September 2026 at 7.30pm. (we previously issued 8th Sept in error)
- Nominations for committee must be proposed and seconded by fully
paid-up members and submitted by 1st September 2026. - Any items for the agenda must also be submitted in writing by this date (1st September 2026)
There are three annual trophies:
- Top Working Dog
- Top Showing Dog
- Top Dual-Purpose Dog
If you think your dog qualifies for one of these trophies please complete the claim form (links below) by the same date.

COMMITTEE ELECTIONS
Committee members serve a three-year term. The following members will reach the end of their current terms at the AGM:
• Gill Gayler
• Lee Fisher
• Jean Powell
• Peter Parris
All four have indicated that they are willing to stand for re-election.
There is also currently one vacancy on the Committee. Nominations are therefore invited from members interested in joining the Committee, as well as for the positions becoming due for election.
Each nomination must have a proposer and seconder. The proposer and seconder must both be fully paid-up members of the Club, and the nominee must have been a member of the Club for at least two years.
Please ensure that the person being nominated has agreed to stand.
Nominations should be sent to the Club Secretary, Donna Beecham, at secretary@braccoitalianoclub.co.uk by 1st September 2026. Please include the nominee’s name and the names of their proposer and seconder.
PROPOSED MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION INCREASE
The Committee will be proposing an increase to the Club’s annual membership subscriptions at the AGM.
The proposal is to increase subscriptions from:
Single membership: £10 to £12
Joint or Family membership: £15 to £17
If approved by members at the AGM, the new subscription rates will take effect from 10th September 2026.
Members who have not yet renewed may still renew before the AGM at the existing rates of £10 for Single membership and £15 for Joint or Family membership.
Please note Associate Members are welcome to attend the AGM but are unable to vote. Please see Rule 13 a-e of our R&R’s for clarification.
